"The Heathen in his Blindness..." Asia, the West, and the Dynamic of Religion

In 1998 the American Academy of Religion organised a meeting on the implications of Balagangadhara’s theory of religion. A selection was published in JAAR, The Journal of the American Academy of Religion, 2000, 68. Cultural Dynamics, 8(2), 1996, issued a symposium volume on "The Heathen in His Blindness…" Contributors were Philip C. Almond, Vivek Dhareshwar, David Loy, David A. Pailin, Narahari Rao and Henry Rosemont Jr.
